Smoke Alarm Verification Form

As part of the city's smoke detector awareness campaign, the firefighters from the Service de sécurité incendie de l'Agglomération de Longueuil had planned to visit your home this spring to make sure your smoke detectors are working properly and that you have a carbon monoxide detector installed, if needed. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, home visits have been suspended until further notice.

To ensure your safety, by-law CA-2016-254 on fire prevention requires us to confirm that the building is compliant and to update our information about your home. We would greatly appreciate your cooperation, which is essential to the success of this campaign.

If the information you provide indicates a non-compliance, you will receive an email from the Service de sécurité incendie de l'Agglomération de Longueuil advising you of the steps to take.
